In 2031, the software manufacturer Oracle Cerner will discontinue support for the hospital management software for German university clinics i.s.h.med (IS-H short for “Industry Solutions Healthcare”). With the SAP application, clinic employees can organize their merchandise management and write bills. Thus, customers will no longer receive regular updates that, for example, close security gaps or map legal changes in the processes. Consiquently, clinics will need soon a new program. How high the effort of the conversion is, can not be estimated yet.
